Good features but a couple of serious flaws
This charger looks good on paper and has a some great features. But I don't like the design. Problem one, the charger pigtail from your vehicle plugs right into this unit, so you have to have a long cable to reach this thing. My primary use is on motorcycles, where you don't always have room to for a coil of cable.
Secondly, I wanted to use this on multiple bikes that already have SAE battery maintainer cables installed. Unfortunately they won't fit into this charger's SAE socket. Is it non-standard? I don't know, but so far two of my existing cables won't work with it, and I don't have an adapter. Bottom line, unless you are going to use this with the pigtail that comes with the unit, you may not be able to plug into it.
