Although much smaller than the battery it replaced in my Snapper lawnmower, it turns the engine over faster in my opinion. It seems to be able to do the job effortlessly but the final verdict will be how long it lasts. So far I am impressed with this battery's performance.

Battery is quite a bit smaller so it doesn't fit the battery holder but is easily secured with bungee cords. Terminal screws are much different but again can be adapted to work fairly easily.

After cranking over several times motorcycle fired right up. I then put the Scorpion battery on my Battery Tender to make sure it was fully charged and after about 1 hour it was ready to go. WOW! I ordered Friday afternoon and received Tuesday morning in Texas. It would have been here on Monday morning but post office was closed for MLKJ day. I put it in my 2001 GSXR 1000 and it fired right up. My bike calls for a YTX12-BS but the YTX14-BS is the same length and width only 15mm taller and 200 CCA vs.180. Just dremel out the flat spot on the bottom of seat a few mm and it fits perfect. Only time will tell how long it will last but I have high hopes. Will update review when needed. Thanks

The first battery I received was the wrong one for my bike. I contacted Battery stuff .com and they responded the next day. The correct battery was shipped as promised. After I installed it the bike would not start. After contacting them again, we had thought the battery was dead. After a little investigating on my part, I found a blown starter fuse. I replaced the fuse, put the battery back in and the tires are to the road and I'm back on the road. The bike starts every time with the new battery. Cranked up at first try.....I wouldn't go anywhere else for a quad or lawnmower battery. This particular one went in my Honda 450. One tough battery as I regularly use this quad daily! I have confidence for the winter now- and most likely for a good 3 years before needing a full charging.

This was battery # YTX14-BS for my 2003 Honda Shadow 750 ACE.

The battery was delivered in two days. As this winter continued to drag on (and on and on0< I stored it in the basement until the bike was ready to come out of storage, about 3-4 weeks. When it was time, I dropped the battery into place, hooked it up and it started right up. I didn't even have to put a charger on it from the storage! I'm very happy. Time will tell about longevity.

FYI: my bike stays in a heated garage year round and a battery tender is in use during the off-seasons here in Ohio. Last two HD batteries were fine until the end of each ridding season. Sort of odd. Figure if they would go bad it would be at the beginning of the season.

Bought 3 other batteries for my Harley and none had a high capacity of cranking amps. 180 CCA was it and I was told each time "it should be fine". It was not. After my bike would sit for a few weeks, every time my battery would be able to crank the motor, but barely and not fast enough to get it to start the bike.

I bought this battery as it was advertised as 220 CCA so I figured I would give it a try as it was the same size as the others. What did I have to lose... Well, my bike has been sitting for 23 days since I last started it. I got an email today from this company to review my battery purchase so I figured I would go see if the bike would start. Well, sure enough it did and without any hesitation. Cranked fast and fired right up. Good purchase and would recommend if you have had a hard time finding good AGM batteries among all the crap that is now being sold. FWIW, The last two batteries I had purchased were genuine HD batteries at 119.00 each. Both lasted one season...

I purchased this same battery 5 years ago for my lawn tractor. No trouble with it for 5 years. Time for a new one.

But turns out starter was dragging yesterday it would not even turn over. Took the starter off it was locked up. Finally got it to turn a little make a lot of grinding nose turning by hand ordered new starter. This battery should work fine with new starter. thanks for asking.

I've had two of these batteries for two separate bikes. The first fit perfectly, however the last one for My Honda 750 Ace required that I remove the thin side cushion from inside the battery box and then it fit well. Other than that both batteries have performed well. I do keep a battery tender on my batteries.

fit might need a little adjustment, but that's probably true for a lot of after market batteries.
