Replacement for Kipor generator
Looks nice,well made.....but

Replaced in Kipor Sinemaster KGE3000Ti gen set. Got May of 2010 worked great. Won't turn over July of 2011. Bought on close out for $23.00 delivered. Has been on maintenace charger when not in service. Voltage at 13.26 when fully charged,only clicks the relay. Hooked up my 4 wheeler bat. to the gen set,draws 35 amps and spins like a top,not the gen set. Don't normally see good vlts and cant' draw amps! Got what I paid for - not much...

Very Good Battery for Vintage British Bikes
I repair and restore vintage British Triumph, BSA, Nortons motorcycles from the 50's-70's. These bikes use a 12N7 battery but I cannot find a sealed 12N7. This YTX7E 12v AGM fits nicely. It is just a tad shorter than the 12N7 but that is better than a tad taller! I will buy more of these.

Scorpion YTX7E
If I had another option, I would try it. But since I don't I will continue to take my chances with the Scorpion $50 battery.
I have owned several classic British bikes and this is basically the only battery that fits. Old style acid batteries are too tall. Pros: always available through BatteryStuff, reasonable price.
Cons:
The last two purchased didn't last even thought consistently on trickle chargers. One didn't last even 12mos, the most recent lasted less than 2 years.
