seem to last longer than lead acid batteries.

Scorpion motorcycle battery
Batterystuff.com is my go-to for batteries, these folks are great to deal with, they ship the batteries quickly, and their prices are unbeatable.
I purchased the YTZ5S Scorpion battery for my KTM 525exc motorcycle and it fit in the battery compartment perfectly. The battery works well, I haven't had to think about it since installing, so that is as high praise as I can offer for a motorcycle battery. I keep all of our off-road batteries on a battery tender when stored, so this battery should last a long time.
Will definitely look to battery stuff.com when I need batteries in the future
Cons:
Battery is not as light as a lithium battery, but it was 1/3 of the price and if I am really concerned with removing 2 lbs from my bike, I should skip dessert for a few weeks :)
